Evening, all. Hectic time here as we gather all our belongings-almost everything we have is wet so the drying room is overflowing. The weather was much better today (it still rained, though). Everyone is excited about coming home but sad to be leaving.

Happy Birthday, Jake!!!

It's Jake's birthday today-he is ten-wow!! And, as if by magic, here he is.....

I went absailing today and had loads of fun after that angela and rebecca jumped in the lake with me it was FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEZING , well anyway im missing everyone at home and i will be back soon. bye!

jack says: We went to the highest pub in England and we climbed half way up a really high mountain
we also did some canoeing and we jumped in the lake it was FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEZING but i made the biggest splash

Lana says: today was really fun because we went to the Kirkstone Pass and we climbed really high me and my friends got scared.  In the afternoon we went canoeing. It was loads of fun-we had to paddle around to catch plastic ducks. At the end we got to jump in the lake-it was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cold. :-o

Rebecca says: today I climbed a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge mountain. It took quite a while and at the top we had a bit of a snack. The view was amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing. Going down wasn't as steep as going up-phew!! Because I've got a fear of heights, it was quite scary.

High Borrans Monday

Hi, folks. We've arrived at High Borrans and are very much looking forward to our exciting week here. Our aim is to get every child to add to this blog over the course of the week so that we can share some of the amazing things we are doing.

We can't post pictures at the moment but we're working on it! Keep checking the blog as we'll update it every evening.

Jack says: we have climbed a hill (very hard) and interesting; we ate a fresh blackberry (lush);
can't wait until tomorrow fabulous!!

Ben says: to day has been very good we went on a really long walk and we climbed up a realy big hill. And I can't wait till tomorrow.

Lana says: High Borrans is fun! Today we went on a long walk which I enjoyed. We saw some rare sheep and I've got a wobbly tooth.

Olivia would like to announce: High Borrans is very homely and comfortable and a very nice place to be. I would give the food 5 stars because it is very nice but poor Mr Corbishley didn't get any pepperoni pizza-ha ha! I can't wait for tomorrow's activities.

Adam declared: the bedrooms are bigger than I expected. I like the bunkbeds because I don't normally get to sleep in a room with my friends.

Jemma says: we've got an en-suite!!! How cool?! The park on the way here was fun and we just missed the torrential rain.

Corey wanted to add: High Borrans is amazing!!
